This morning I painted a canvas with acrylic paint hoping for a coastal scene.
It didn't quite turn out as planned.
So then I added collage and a stamped bird.
This is one small section of my canvas.
I would like to join in with Paint Party Friday.
See you there.
well now this is quite an interesting piece; the collage input was a good idea
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Friday, happy you stopped over at my blog
much love...
Looking lovely so far! Is the tree a stencil?
ReplyDeleteLooking great. Happy PPF, Annette x

Beautiful work! Valerie
ReplyDeleteYour coastal scene does work as a building near the sea, it makes me think of a light-house and there is definitely windy weather at work there. A very interesting collage, I enjoyed examining it's intricacies.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your very nice comment on my 'pilot' post, much appreciated.
Sweet work! Looking out for more!

I love the effect of the transparency feel , the overlapping of your images. Beautiful blog header too-love the poppies!
ReplyDeletesometimes, in lieu of the planned piece, we achieve something fresh and new. I like it.
ReplyDeleteThis small section is definitely very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy experience is that I almost always end up with something different than I had planned to create. Or I am so unhappy with it because my inner vision was "so perfect" that I change it completely.
I love what I see here - so much visual texture - would love to see more!
ReplyDeleteWell, this corner of the canvas has already got my curiosity, adore the tree and how that bird is almost hiding.Wonder what else will appear in the entire visual.
