It won't be long before spring
Has all the creative juices running
And walking along the lanes
Stimulates a joy of everything

on my desk today
On my desk today: a stitched piece using the same bird stamp as previously
and
some wonderful books I have yet to read.
This book is one I shall alter in some way.
It was a child's board book with portholes.
I have been playing around with the portholes, not
sure yet how to proceed.
I will link to WOYWW and say thank you to Julia for
hosting this weekly event!

An Ice Breaker
Another corner of a painting I did in an earlier post.
It looks to me like a ship breaking ice in the Arctic.
It was a blue painting which has been manipulated in a basic picture managing programme.
The bird, also of an earlier post, is looking on!
I will link up to Creative Every Day and thank Leah for hosting it!

A Digital Sketch
This little sketch was done with Brushes App.
I didn't know what I wanted to sketch, I was really just playing.
TWO PINK ROSES....this could be an appropriate title.

Paint and collage
This morning I painted a canvas with acrylic paint hoping for a coastal scene.
It didn't quite turn out as planned.
So then I added collage and a stamped bird.
This is one small section of my canvas.
I would like to join in with Paint Party Friday.
See you there.

Bird's nest and washi tape
The bird collage of the previous post is now made into a card or wall hanging.
I hope to link this to The Shabby Tea Room Challenge blog.
It is quite 'shabby' in style and as I have added faux,
(home made) washi tape, it hopefully meets the challenge.
The only splash of colour is the pale pink button of
the hanging mechanism.
A Nest
With the stamp set from yesterday's post,
I have made a nest.
I created this on top of an old envelope and used the wood shavings.
Trying to make this less flat I have raised the bird up a bit and photographed
it from various angles.
The background stamp and the bird are by Paper Artsy.
I will link to Creative Every Day.
